- The daily rations are recommendations. Your pet's actual needs depend on age, breed, activity level, and environment and may therefore vary from the stated values. Provide your cat with fresh water at all times. If your cat isn't drinking enough despite eating vital urinary dry food, we recommend feeding it vital urinary wet food. This has the advantage that a large amount of water is consumed simultaneously with the food.
